FSC Certification

Tenon’s only saw milling facilities are situated in New Zealand, where Tenon  sources logs from pine tree farms that are harvested on a renewable basis, utilizing responsible management techniques that meet all local environmental requirements. The Company does not source natural or native forests. 

The Company’s facilities, modern machinery and production processes increase efficiency,   which results in less waste and reduces industrial emissions.

The Forest Stewardship Council (“FSC”) recognizes the Company’s strong commitment to responsible and sustainable materials procurement and processing.  The FSC provides an internationally recognized environmental certification eco-label that is awarded to companies after an independent assessment confirms that a company is operating in an environmentally responsible and socially beneficial way. The Company’s New Zealand raw materials and processing mills are certified by the FSC, demonstrating that they meet strict environmental, social, and economic standards. One FSC-certified sawmill and two FSC-certified remanufacturing plants in New Zealand are dedicated solely to supplying the US market with high quality FSC-certified pine wood mouldings, boards, and lumber.
